Our rich experiences have shaped our unique perspectives; the world has manifested itself in different series. This year, CYVAC’s theme was “The World We Live In,” in hopes of encouraging artists to reflect meaningfully on their perception of the world. What does the diverse and inclusive world look to you?

Youth Initiative Vancouver is incredibly excited that CYVAC 2023 has been recognized by the Prime Minister of Canada, The Mayor of Richmond, The Premier of British Columbia, The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, The Hong Kong Economic Trade Office, and the Premier of Ontario.

We believe it is important for the works of young artists to be acclaimed and their talents supported; YIV stays absolutely committed to putting in hard work and dedication to finish off CYVAC 2023 strong. CYVAC has served as a powerful platform that transcends language barriers and geographical boundaries. YIV is sincerely grateful that diversity can be embraced through the creation of different art pieces, and such efforts are being recognized internationally.

The highly anticipated CYVAC is coming to a grand finale!
Join us to appreciate the mesmerizing array of artworks as we gather on June 8th, 9th, and 10th.
This year, CYVAC’s PUBLIC auction of outstanding art pieces will be on June 9th from 8-9 PM at Lipont Place; mark your calendars for our charity art sale to support VGH+UBC Hospital Foundation!
YIV’s executives will host multiple booths for the awards ceremony on June 10th, including Krispy Kreme sales and interactive activities with a gift card raffle.
These closing events are not just a celebration of art, but are also a culmination of collective passion, unique stories, and unwavering commitment of the artistic community.
